Feast of Transfiguration (Koodara Perunnal): Another important feast during the month is Transfiguration, which falls on Thursday, 6th August. It also marks the 61st memorial Feast of H.G. Alexios Mar Theodosius, Dharmayogi of Malankara Orthodox Church. He was the first Bishop of Outside Kerala Diocese. Special remembrance prayer will be held on that day.
