St. Mary’s Orthodox Christian Youth League (SMOCYL) stands for the motto of the Malankara Orthodox Christian Youth Movement – “Worship, Study, and Service”.

Marthoman Smrithi
Youth League organized “Marthoman Smriti” on 7th July 2024 at the church immediately after the Holy Qurbana. Dr. Manu Korulla, Outstanding Scientist and Director (DCW&E), DRDO was the chief speaker for the occasion. He enlightened us with the spirit of being a St. Thomas Christian.
Aadhaar Updation Camp
An Aadhaar updation camp was organized by the OCYM in cooperation with UIDAI at St. Paul’s School, Hauz Khas, on the 14th and 21st of August 2024. The camp provided facilities including new Aadhaar enrollment, biometrics, demographic and document updates, and PAN card updates. The camp was a great success. We appreciate the efforts of all OCYM members and the school team.
Brochure Release
The brochure for the Appeal for charity activities proposed for 2024-25 was released on Sunday, July 28, 2024, after the Holy Qurbana. Mrs. Aleyamma George, our senior member, made the first contribution towards the charity activities for the year.
Cleanliness Drive
A Cleanliness Drive was conducted by OCYM along with MGOCSM on 11th August 2024 as part of the Perunnal activities. The team covered the area surrounding the Church and the route followed by the procession. The efforts are greatly appreciated.
One-Day Conference
The one-day conference of OCYM Delhi Diocese was conducted on 18th August at St. John’s Orthodox Church, Mayur Vihar. H.G. Zachariah Mar Severios spoke on the theme ‘Power of Resurrection’ (Phil 3:10). Our unit had a very strong presence at the Conference, with multiple members actively participating and contributing to the interactive sessions.
Payasam Sale
As part of the Onam Celebrations the OCYM organised a Payasam Sale on 15 August 2024. The efforts are greatly appreciated.
